Hey, my name is Paul and I am a 23-year-old 3D artist from Rostock, Germany. I have been working in the 3D field for almost 10 years as a generalist, and commercially for about 3 years. I discovered this passion very early on and have continued to pursue it. Although I have a degree in game design, I mainly work in the film and advertising industry. I am currently employed as the main 3D artist for Funk's YouTube format “tatsache.” I love pipes and cables as well as dark and moody environments.

Now to the technical aspects of my work. My mom gifted me Octane Render in 2015 and since then I stuck with it. So besides Octane Render I use Cinema4D, After Effects / Magic Bullet Looks for grading, MOI 3D for topology enhancement of CAD models, Fusion360, Rizom UV, Blender and Substance Painter.

I personally would describe myself as a generalist but with a strong eye on environmental design, storytelling through details, texturing and lighting. I usually dont work stylized, Im trying to push realism the most in my works because I love to get lost in details that are maybe not recognizable at first glance.
